  • Synodontis multipunctatus

Some Synodontis multipunctatus also known as the cuckoo catfish and cuckoo squeaker, looking for granulated fish food under the gravel. This movie taken in the one of the pet shops , thats why there are so many fishes in this tanks.
You might presume these fishes was not fed for a long time and are very hungry? Wrong, they fed every day. Actually they just like to eat :-) and do it regularly. If you wanna see full-fed Synodontis catfish you really need give him a lot of food, probably a whole bag at once. But it’s not healthy for them.

p.s. Please do not take this post very seriously and do not overfeed your fish.
p.p.s. Do you know why it called cuckoo squeaker? Its because of the squeaking sounds he produce when taken out of the water. And cuckoo – because this catfish swimming between spawning cichlids, eating their eggs and depositing their own instead of eaten. Synodontis eggs then are picked up by the mouthbrooding cichlids and nursed as their own eggs.
